About Children Mending Hearts (CMH)

Children Mending Hearts is a non-profit organization, which works to educate, empower and encourage children worldwide by giving them the power to find and use their voices through creative expression. Working with arts and cultural specialists, CMH conducts workshops in the arts in America with local homeless children’s organizations and internationally with NGO’s supporting children in conflict zones. Their programs help expand the individual potential of these young people by strengthening their minds through creative stimulation and helping them grow into better global citizens.

Join us for the 2010 Peace Please Gala

Children Mending Hearts and its founder Lysa Heslov, have announced that this year’s annual fundraiser, Peace Please, will be held in April 2010, at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater. Ben Affleck along with Grant and Lysa Heslov will host the event.

The 2009 gala event was a huge success with the participation and attendance from the likes of Ben Affleck, Hank Azaria, Elizabeth Banks, Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Garner, Anderson Cooper, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Andie McDowell, Alyssa Milano, Marissa Tomei, Joel Madden, and Kate Walsh, along with many others.
