(What does Trousdale Lounge, Drais Opening - W Hollywood, Roxy / On The ROCKS - Travis Barker, Galley 1988, MPI - JW Marriott, Snoop Dogg - Roosevelt, The WOOD Lounge - La Brea and ECCO Hollywood - Parks & Recreation Filming all have in common? Me! Last couple of weeks have been very busy!

On average it takes a minimum of 3 nights out of the week to stay in the lime light of nightlife in Hollywood, there are trendsetter and tastemaker events happening everywhere. If you miss a beat you may not know what "Opening" happened or what the latest event fad is. It takes stamina. Not to say I don’t have stamina. ☺

For the latest on venues for your next event or filming, pop-up event locations or to suggest a venue I have not yet experienced, send me a email, post your venue, or link to this page from your blog.

If you’re in any city other than LA, I would love to hear from you too. The Event Division is EXPANDING !!! Send me your favorite nightclub, event space or lounge to be featured in our next newsletter!

TED on Drive, Passion and Intuition.

I was thinking the other day, where would I be if I did not create The Event Division? What if I did not listen to myself and get excited at the possibilities!

When I bargain with or internalize my creative self, I am limiting my true nature to spring forth in to existence.

As an event producer I have always wanted more. The greatest venue, the best band, the perfect entrĂ©e, an ORGANIZED guest list...I forgot while trying to be perfect in my career that I was not enjoying the process, because I was concerned with every detail. Did that make the event less perfect? Did I compromise my own happiness for someone else’s happiness and forfeit my own personal passion? Yes, I did because that is my role as producer, enabler, entrepreneur - so I thought.

While in the process of your career you can choose your intuitive thoughts to guide you without outside influences reminding you of "How difficult the times are", "That has not been done before," etc... you may find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

There are rules in making this choice, however ...

The first rule is: Believe in yourself! Know that you have every piece of the puzzle waiting for you to create your unique life picture.

The second rule is: Recognize your support base! In your co-workers, family and friends that believe in you and want to see you achieve your dreams.

The third rule is: GO BACK TO WHAT YOUR PARENTS SAID! "Be careful, it’s a dangerous world out there." What they were really saying is; "know your value and be wise with your actions while making decisions because people will try and take advantage of you if you are not grounded." (I wonder what EDISON or EMERSON parents said to them?)

You may find that the first step to happiness and success starts with you creating something that no one else could have created without your drive, passion and intuition.

Technology helping small businesses all around

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!

What’s next? I can’t wait. I just realized that our work load will be 70% less!
GEEZE!

It seems like yesterday, I was complaining about excel docs, databases, filing systems, emails being scattered, anything and everything that had to do with the back office. There are some of us who DO NOT like sitting in the office generating proposals and reports, yuck!

But now it seems, I will have a digital salesforce, an automated system with my own personal touch, organization with a click of a... Wait! There is no "click" anymore, I don't use a mouse...lol. That’s how fast technology is moving. While we are researching venues so we can help event planners with their venues search, I keep thinking of more ways to make this system work faster, more profitable, with less over head... Wait, can it replace me?

Truth is, when I was in elementary school, teachers said this would happen. Am I that old that at the turn of the century, robots have taken over The Event Division? humm. Well, if I think about what robots are, not
"ROBOCOP",for us who grew up in that era"...“Robot<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robot> A robot is an automatically guided machine, able to do tasks on its own.”(Do we heart Wikipedia or what?)

What’s next aliens?

TED 2.0 coming soon!
